Would you want someone to use your picture for a school project? Do you think that they should get your permission first? Why?
- I think that if someone was to use my picture for a school project that they should first get permission. You never know what they could do with our picture it could be for false advertising, they could even sabotage your "image".

Question of the Day

In your opinion, how might you and your peers react if a similar ban on bagged lunches was established at your school? Do you think that students at your school would make healthier choices if school food were the only food available? Explain.
- I think the kids will react poorly to the "BAN" on bagged lunches because like in Chicago there are kids who never agree with the choices of lunch provided by he school.

Computer Simulation Cracks Chicken-Egg Puzzle : Discovery News
Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Now British scientists claim to have finally come up with the definitive answer:
How has technology made this possible? What riddle would you like to solve using technology?
- Technology helped scientist make this possible because it enabled them to kickstart the formation of crystals that make up an eggshell by clamping itself on to calcium carbonate particles. One riddle i would like to solve using technology is probably "why did the chicken cross the road?"

Stand Please - Question of the Day

Read the cartoon. What do you think of people who do not stand for the Pledge of Allegiance? If you do not stand explain why you don't? Why do you think you should or should not stand? Remember if you don't stand for something you will fall for everything.
- I think people who dont stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance are disrespectful to the country. How hard is it to stand up for about 30seconds and recite something that is already memorized. I think everyone should stand for the pledge to show respect for their country and the people who served for their rights.

What are some of the problems that you face as teenager as a result of Social Networking? This would include using social networking sites, like Facebook and Twitter, Instant Messaging, SMS and or Text Messaging. How does interacting 24/7 affect the way you think and communicate? Does social media affect your school work in a positive or negative way? Do you agree or disagree with the author of this article that Social Networking affects both your writing skills and social manners? What do you think? Make sure to defend your position.

- As a teenager the main problem we face as a result of social networking is the inability to focus on other assignments that we due when on the computer. even then now they have it so notifications come straight to our cellphones. It only causes a huge distraction that we never achieve the goal of completing our homework. We always find ourselves on Facebook checking for notifications, checking our mail, instant messaging, and writing on other peoples walls.
Social networking does affect our school work in mostly a negative way. You find students on phones in the middle of class on Facebook risking getting their phones taken just to check a few messages. Facebook preoccupies a majority of all teenagers as they frantically find a way to waste their time on the computer. Also on social networks, almost everybody uses "slang" and never spell correctly. This takes a negative affect on our school work because we begin to write like we text. No teacher will accept work with words like "skool" "txt" or "wats upp".
I agree with the author that Social Networking affects both your writing skills and social manners.
